Who you're meeting

Marco Grüter

I grew up in a family business. When I was 25, my father died — and the company nearly didn't survive. Everything depended on one person. That shaped how I think about business more than any degree ever could.

The next 25 years I spent building the opposite. Four companies built, scaled, and sold. As a PE/VC advisor I saw how buyers actually value businesses — and why good companies still sell for less than they're worth.

I've lived this problem twice. Once watching it happen to someone I loved. Once myself — selling under pressure, at a fraction of what the business was worth. The Future-Proof Business framework came out of both experiences.
